The Mind Behind the Mi Lu Center

Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, I moved out west to Colorado after completing my bachelor’s degree in biology. I spent years working in veterinary medicine and for Donor Alliance (a non-profit organization specializing in organ and tissue recovery for transplant). While in Denver, I was introduced to acupuncture and Chinese herbal treatments when seeking medical help for my beloved dog, Moose, as he battled neuropathy. The benefits I saw in him developed a passion and love for Chinese medicine that would spur me to obtain my master’s degree in Chinese medicine.

In December, 2011, I graduated from The Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine and became a licensed acupuncturist in the State of Colorado. In 2016, I became a licensed acupuncturist in the State of Tennessee. I was awarded Diplomate status from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and I have obtained a Clean Needle Certification from the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

After many years of living and practicing in Colorado, my family and I moved to Chattanooga in 2016. I look forward meeting new clients and finding new adventures in the hills of Tennessee! Our extended family is happy to have us nearby as well.

I love being on my bicycle, trail running, yoga and exploring all that Chattanooga offers. Since I lead such an active lifestyle I understand, firsthand, how beat up our bodies can get. Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine has helped me mend my own bumps and bruises, and it has helped me conquer chronic issues that could have hindered my "fun in the sun" lifestyle.

I would love to be able to help you achieve your optimum health so you can keep doing what you love. Please call me at 303.328.5869 or use the contact form to make an appointment.
